Eldonia sp.
• Eldonia is an extinct organism whose fossils are found in the Cambrian strata.
• With no known phylum, this soft-bodied creature had a UFO shape with a spiraling C-shaped gut in its middle. Short tentacles near its mouth were probably used for eating fragments on the sea floor.
• Eldonia was originally designated under the class, Holothuroidea, relating to sea cucumbers, but many other theories have arisen.
• There is no clear consensus on whether Eldonia was free-floating, fixed in one location or could move periodically.
